- Develop and customize Odoo modules based on approved business and technical requirements.
- Develop new features and enhance existing Odoo functionality.
- Customize Odoo using Python, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb.
- Develop and maintain Odoo models, views, wizards, reports, workflows, and business logic.
- Integrate Odoo with external systems and third-party applications when required.
- Work closely with Implementers to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Analyze existing Odoo functionality and identify appropriate technical approaches before developing custom solutions.
- Participate in technical solution design and estimation of development tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues identified during development, testing, UAT, and production.
- Perform code reviews and ensure development follows coding standards and Odoo best practices.
- Conduct unit testing and support system testing and UAT activities.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for developed solutions and customizations.
- Work with PostgreSQL databases when required for development and troubleshooting.
- Ensure developed solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Coordinate with the Technical Team and Project Team to ensure timely delivery of development tasks.
- Participate in client-related technical discussions when required.
- Provide technical support during implementation and post-go-live activities.
- Support and guide Junior Odoo Developers on development tasks and best practices.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge of Odoo versions, frameworks, development tools, and best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
- Strong professional experience with Python and object-oriented programming.
- Good command of English, written and spoken.
- Master demos of our software
Must Have
- Strong Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
- Experience developing and customizing Odoo modules using Python, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to code quality, and ability to work effectively within an ERP implementation/project team.
Nice to have
- Experience with Odoo integrations, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Understanding of complete business processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
- Experience with Git, Linux, Docker, or collaborative development environments.
- Previous experience mentoring Junior Developers or taking ownership of technical tasks.
